Who writes the questions

The bank of 1,500 questions covers levels A0 to B2.2. It is designed, calibrated and validated by experienced, certified teachers of French as a foreign language to children — not generated automatically.

What TestFLE does not do

A placement test locates a level; it replaces neither your classroom observation nor your professional judgement. It does not include written production in the adaptive score, nor speaking — both are separate options.

It gives you a reasoned starting point, and a record of progress. The rest is your job.
